stack install

Hey all. I should be getting my stack kit in tomorrow. Im trying to get everything ready to go as far as tools. What size hole did you have to drill in the bed? I have a 5, 5 and a half, and a 6 inch hole saw. I ordered the grand rock 5" kit. Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking 5.5 then use a cutting tool to make oval if you want it to fit fairly flush with the floor.... Mine is oval

If you want them up against the bed the crossmember will have to be notched unfortunetly. Like bnold said oval works well to snug it to the floor. If you have access to a plasma cutter use it, it will be the easiest.

Yeap... crossmember all to common problem. We went through 2 whole saws and a drill when we did mine. Gots to be an easier way!
