SPA guages and the night llighting?
I have one that does Trans temp and EGT. It has a black rim and white face that goes well in the SRT-10 A pillar. It has 15 selectable settings for brightness.
I have mine set on #2 which is pretty low and is on all the time. The thing I like about that setting is during the day the back light appears off and as darkness sets in it starts to show and at full darkness its not so bright that it distracts you but is still very easy to read.
I really like it and would buy one again, about the only other thing cool for that spot is the Banks Controller/Monitor that fits a 2" hole. I saw an ad for a Ford but dunno if that same setup is available for Dodge.

I have an EGT and Boost combo. There is a menu on this guage that you can set the color (red or green) of the back light, the brightness and you can also set the red alert lights to come on at a preset limit. This guage has more stuff on it than I will ever use.
I had the first generation SPA gauges, before they had the color choices. The light stayed on all the time and bright at night. No seperate wire for the headlight switch. They were nice but gave me irractic operations at times. On my current RAM, I decided to go back to analog. My $.02 worth.
If you want to read up on everything the current gauges are capable of you can download the gauges user manual from their product support page here
A friend of mine mentioned its possible to use the EGT gauge also as a cool-down timer since you can power relays at any user selected temps. I have not done mine yet but am looking into it.
