Sound Clip of Drained Rail???

Anybody Have a Sound Clip of the Popping Sound that is often associated with the Fuel Rail being drained?

I would like to compare it to the sound I am hearing at WOT at high RPM.

PLEASE shoot me a link somebody.

Thanx!

no sound clip but, it sounds like firecrackers popping. It may only pop once ( a single firecracker ) or several times ( like a string of firecrackers ) It's not good at all to hear that sound !

Yep...

Thats Exactly what I've got goin' on...

Sounds like A gas engine nitrous backfiring through the intake.

I guess the only way to rememdy this with my mods is to either go to a smaller injector or twin CP3's correct?

I've taken the TST off due to other issues so I don't have the RP adjustment with it anymore..

Will an MP8 do me any good?

the noise as you may know is from the rail being completely drained of fuel. Do you have a RP gauge and if so... what's it saying ? You do have a lot of mods but that stage II should be keeping up.

If you had the TST on there, I'd say that's what caused it. It's done it to many trucks. I'd look into what kind of RP you have.

The MP-8 will likely make it worse since it's for added pressure. If you haven't already, you might try a different smarty sw then the beta 4.2 too. It's a race program with lots of timing and fuel.

I went ahead and took the TST off the truck and it made things 95 Percent better...

I was running beta 4.10c and have since switched to the production 4.11 in the Smarty.

The noise is gone now as well as a little timing rattle I was having.

I bought the DiPricol RP Gauge.. Is this an accurate gauge?

As soon as UPS delivers I am going to hook it up and see what my Rail is doing.

I kinda thought I would have enough fuel as well but maybe there is something wrong with my CP3...
