so its there own 62/12 turbo they built?? thats a good price, and with a polished housing too....

 

Says spoolup and wastegate are better. I would, but I'm looking for something a little bigger.

 

Yeah, I'm sure some guy in his garage can build (and balance) a much better turbo than two of the largest turbo builders around.

 

Thats why i'm going with the HTT 64/71-13ss...

 

I would be tempted to try if I knew their warranty was as good as all the the big names. I also don't understand what they were saying you would be disappointed with a bigger turbo. Sometimes you need a bigger one. It doesn't look like a bad deal. I'd like to see how it works out for someone.

 

It is in South Jordan Utah, About 25 miles from where I live.

 

That one size turbo and a set of twins are all they sell I think. I am not sure what size turbo will be best for me. Great price though.

I love the line, "the huge shaft means no more broken turbos." They forgot also, "Huge shafts leave less space for compressor fins."

 

I e-mailed him for more info on the company and his experience. Nothing back from him ... ordered a HTT

 

Do a search on D-tech turbos...There was a similiar post on this.. Im not trying to stop the post BTW Just more info to read. LOL

 

D-Tech says their turbo adds 30-70 RWHP, then states that their 'charger will do 550HP.... so, what - are they starting with a ~ 500 horse CTD?

 

In todays tight market, "you get what you pay for" has never been more true.

 

I will second that for sure. I have had really good luck with HTT. They have helped me out many times over again.
