Question Smarty & Stacking

This may seem like a silly question by why stack with a smarty? It would seem to me that they should be able to give you all the duration you want with a different program for the smarty. Is it simply that they are not offering an aggressive enough program for some people or I am wanting to order a smarty but really wanted an answer to this question first, and could not find one.

Some people wanted to add "pressure" too. The Smarty did not do that... (it will add some in the future)

With a moderatley modded truck, there is more to be had running a TST on lower setting on top of the smarty. The programming is catching up, but I think it added to the top end where the Smarty is a little weaker.

On the 03 cr the smarty will give you 130 hp by additional injection duration with a differant timing curve. You can get benefit from a mild pressure box but beware the 03 injectors don't like too much pressure. Adding another duration box will drain the rail and cause egts to get out of control. One of the best mods for the 03 is a set of performance injectors in the range of 50-90hp and then you won't need so much duration.

I agree with you on this fully. the smarty seems to run smoother on any setting. im not ******* tst at all I was there today. the smarty does really good on my truck no issues. when I installed the tst it started to have some

Is there a difference between the 03 injectors and the ones on the 04.5 and up? Is there a difference in the CP3's? I am still trying to figure out why people say its harder to get power from the 03 trucks? I was led to believe the Smarty would add 170 HP to an 03 if you modified the wastegate to increase the boost which I already have.

I am told there's a good bit of differance between 03 and 04.5 injectors. The 04.5 injectors are 5 hole, flow more fuel and can stand more pressure.

You can make good power with the 03. I don't under stand why people say this. If you run a tst they say a smarty stacks well.
