Smarty sr feb. 11. 2010 update?

Any idea what this does?

Feb. 11, 2010 - Software update

* Smarty S06, Smarty S06-PoD and Smarty JR: New software update:

. compatibility to new 2006 editions
. improved timing in all models

Wonder if it would make it so I can shut my waste gate off as now when I do it nothing happens?

There's another one released on 2-15-10. I'm wondering if each new one includes the prior update,in this case "improved timing"? Anybody had an experience with the new and improved timing?

Yup, my truck is definitely more responsive with the new update. I recommend it. I also hit 31psi which is the highest I have ever seen. This is without a boost fooler, need to get one of those soon.

Bob commented on TDR that the one dated 2-15-10, picked up a calibration that was left out on the 2-11-10 update..... In typical Bob fashion, he did not elaborate.

Guys.

Go to the "News" tab on the Mads site.

It's all laid out for you there....

As per mads news Feb. 15, 2010 - Software update

* Smarty S06, Smarty S06-PoD and Smarty JR: high idle enabled in all models

I can verify it is not a manual high idle for a 2003.......

Well I was afraid to update but did as 5.09 created a slight ruff running feel between 17-2000 rpms and I wasn't able to go back to 5.08 for some reason. So I bit the bullet and loaded 5.10B and it's gone and truck is a lot snappier again just like 5.08 is. Oh timing rattle is less too. We'll see if my mpgs come back too.

That is for the Jr, I believe. The latest for Sr (POD) is 4.03A.

Has anyone tried the latest? Noticed any difference?
