I was hoping somebody could let the cat out of the bag about the 'secret goodies' you get with a Smarty. I know it "unlocks" the high idle feature....wich was already done on my truck......but are there any unadvertised goodies you get when installing the smarty?

I heard a rumor that it gets rid of the horn honking with the door open thing. Is that true? Or are the 'extras' super hush hush?

 

I'm afraid that is only a rumor.... Mine still honks if I put it in Reverse with the seat belt off and door open.

 

You can turn the horn honk off with the remote/key fob. Just check your manual or the flyer that came on the dash. I did it the first thing when I got it home. I have never had a horn honk in reverse.
