I wouldn't think so. The Smarty has to communicate with the truck's computer in order to tell it to change and how much to change. As I understand it, you set what catcher setting you want, set the variables and load the program into the truck's computer along with the pod setting. If you have the progressive setting run all the way up, 99 I believe, you get the total amount of power available from the catcher setting you loaded. If you have it set at say 50, you get half of the power available for the catcher setting you loaded. You can change the progressive setting on the fly but you still have to shut down to change the catcher power levels.

I just recieved my pod from DTR, now is the tnt loaded or the highest level of power I can get.

Basically I'm switching from the bdpmt w/cl and I bought this smarty pod for MORE power. From what I just read on instructions, it's only 170 hp increase. What do I need to do to get more out of it??

Thanks

TNT is the highest power available off the net. TNT/R provides more but that is only available by request and you must have the necessary engine upgrades to use it.

You are far better served for now by upgrading turbo first.

I have the following waiting to be installed: arp studs, ddp 90's, twin turbos, wickd's cp3 stageIII (in the works), inner cooler, custom fp w/big line, billet input shaft/sfi flexplate.

I have alot of work ahead of me day after X-mas. I have about a week to do this, hopefully I get r done (haha)

So, that's why I want to get full power out of the smarty pod. I want to get all my ducks in a row. Thanks

Ordered a set of push rods along with the springs from Zach.

Does anyone know if Bob Wagner is the only person to contact to get the TNT-R program from?? Thanks

Hi Mr. Bob Wagner, I guess you don't reply/check your pm's as I have tried to reach you multable times, giving you alot of info. of my plans. Scroll up and you'll see what I have. I have read MAD's requirements and I think I have met them, so I'd like to load my smarty pod with the TNT-R program. Thanks.

so if you have your smarty set to say the 60 hp setting and you dial in 50 on the pod that gives you 30 hp increse?

I am not a smarty owner yet but planned on it for a while now just haven't purchased one yet.

any more info a non owner should know before purchasing?

No I don’t think so. I think setting POD to 50 would give 50% of total power: (325+60)/2=192.5 HP.
