I have the Smarty on my 03 6speed and yes I slipped my clutch a few times but it took so getting use to but I am currently driving around on SW#9 and my clutch can handle it just fine.

The key to it not slipping is to be aware of what your rpm is before you go WOT. I can go WOT after 1800rpm and it will hold. Make sure you dont let it bog down or dump the clutch at a red light or it will slip then.

I can slip it on the 90HP but make it hold on 130hp w/o TQ managment. Funny thing is it actually drives easier on #9 then on #7 because it fuels sooner and doesnt require much pedel movment.

Good luck

That is such good advice. I bet if I read that & followed it before I loaded my S.C., I would not be ordering a new clutch.

Whatever version that was loaded when I ordered it about 2 months ago.

Ive never had any reason to download the newer versions. Since its on a pretty much stock 03 I dont have any spool, smoke, or timing rattle issues

I tell you, I'm very pleased with just the level 3 (60+timing) setting. And the smoothness is unreal, compared to the EZ. The performance feels equal or better compared to the EZ set at 70hp.
I can't even imagine what level #7 would be like.
