I have Smarty Junior for my 06. I have it set for the middle, tow, 70hp configuration. I have never upgraded or changed the software since purchase. I like the power, but when towing, especially under load, it smokes too much.
If I upgrade to a new software, the latest REVO, will it improve performance and reduce smoke?
Do I just go to their website and download the latest upgrade for the Jr. 06?
Any help to my limited software knowledge would be appreciated.

 

Yeah just go to the website, download the update, then connect Jr to the computer and update it. Might want to set the truck back to stock setting before updating. Not sure you have to but it won't hurt. The latest software should help with the smoke you will have to find the REVO setting that works for you.

 

I run mine Revo TM4/TQ4 SW1 and it pulles great and yes it still smokes. TM2/TQ4 is lighter on the haze. It's only bad at night as headlights make it look worse then it is.
