guys i am in the process of replacing my TQ and V body with a DTT triple disc and towing Valve body.I was wondering if moving up from a smarty Jr. to a S06 for my 04.5 would give me a noticable increase in torque/power??We started towing a 32Ft fiver which weighs in around 13,500 lbs and the truck seems to struggle geting up to speed,i really wanted to beef up the tranny so this is my excuse to my better half.i don't want my EGT's to increase and i don't know if the smarty Sr.will increase my EGT's.Another thought i had was installing some new nozzles but i read here about guys noticing EGT's climbing. i have a buddy who wants my Jr.so to buy a Smarty S06 wouldn't be to costly.

 

No opinions,come on guys,the S06 users must have some experiences towing with Smarty Sr.

 

I tow with the S06 and love it. I mainly leave it on SW5 whether I'm towing or not... at least until I add more mods. I take it easy a little getting up to speed but then on the interstate cruising at 70(mph) my EGT's are fine.

I have no prior experience with the JR. but I would want the SR. for the versatility of it if you are planning more mods yourself-

 

I have the S06 and think the power on 3 is awesome. I also added a quad boost fooler which easily drops the EGTs 150-200, and i like that a lot!
