Smarty JR? YES SIR!!(Special thanks DTR members)

For those that don't know...I have been waiting for the JR for months now (wife was holding it till father's day) and I have been biting my nails just waiting to get my hands on it.
SO...I know I am merely 1 of MANY that has posted thier satisfaction with the Smarty JR (or just Smarty in general), but here goes!!!
I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT!
I have only had it for roughly 24 hours now, and I can honestly say that it has lived up to every expectation I had. It's perfect...and when I say perfect, it's PERFECT for me! The JR gives me excatly what I was looking for (better throttle response, lower EGT's, drive ability, and of course additional low-end power, etc...). No...I don't work for Smarty, and I'm certainly not looking to advertise for them. BUT....
I simply wanted to say how much I apprecaite the advise and suggestion from many of you on this site with respect to my decision to go with the Smarty (Cummins engines are no small investment. Hence, I took this decision very seriously). Before I got on here, I was wrestling with everything from Edge Juice, to Banks, to Diablo (not that there is anything wrong with these products), but after much consideration and thought I went with the Smarty...and GOD I'm glad I did!
So anyway, thanks in particular to "Carl 48, Adaminak, rockcrawler304, & lastly AH64ID". All these guys were a huge help in making my decision to go with Smarty and helping me understand the value in the Smarty advantage!

So Ya'll be good, and I'm sure you'll see me out here from time to time asking the same ole' questions you have probably seen time and time again!

(Did I mention how much I love Smarty?)

It's my pleasure to help guide you to the top of a slippery slope of Cummins addiction

BTW: When you're looking for a new turbo, AH64 has the skinny on a great setup, and when you're looking for a new transmission look up Big Swole's latest posts. I'm convinced my wife would block this I.P. address if she knew I get most of my ideas from DTR...this place is GREAT!

My wife knows Chris (cbrahs) and I talk and knows I get my ideas from him and DTR. Lucky for me she is not "Totally" against me modding the truck. She just hates the cost of everything!! I pick and choose my mods carefully

This sounds familiar!!!
Luckily my wife's dad is a gear head so I play that card pretty regularly.

And to that point this site is a blessing and a detriment...it's great for advise on not "wasting your money" on sub-par upgrades and benchmarking other fanatics, BUT...it also gets you super pumped about making upgrades that might otherwise go un-fullfilled.

Nice! We need to play any angle we can with the wives
Lucky for me my wife loved Chris' old truck after seeing it in person a few times and it made it much easier

Plus she likes to mod her Tundra too!

Congrats on the Jr. Just a fyi I drive my 06 like a old lady, first to go was my TQ then the entire tranny. I never went above #2 and did not tow heavy. I have since taken care of the tranny issues thanks to David Goerand and 3k. If you are going to
play then you are going to pay...
