I just got about 18 MPG on the Performance 100 hp setting. A mix of city and fast two lane(65-70 MPH). This is with 35" Toyo MTs. All I have is a valvebody and Scotty III air intake.

I was using the tow setting and was getting 18.6 MPG but that was with 285/70R17s.

After a couple tanks I will go back to the tow setting and compare.

I don't do much highway driving so I can't compare. Although I wouldn't call Montana city driving, more like around town

I got 18.8 last week by hand on hwy between 55 and 70mph. Thats rolling on slow and being pretty lightfooted. It was about 100 degrees and it is a flat drive from Dallas to Austin. No load but I have bumpers and 35's...hope that helps...oh yeah...thats on #1 with the no smoke beta software which I like way better that #1 c or d.

I'm pretty much in line with what's being reported here. I've gotten as high as 26 but that was an experiment to see just what I could achieve for max mileage and isn't a realistic driving style day in, day out. Well, I guess it could be if you live in the middle of nowhere and enjoy never touching the A/C, max your tire pressure, accelerate so slowly you have to let up on the pedal to get it to shift and drive so slowly you can barely hold on to tq lock.

Impossible for any length of time, IMO. You can only take getting passed by Civil War veterans in Pintos so many times.

I have gotten as high as 24.2 MPG. That about 60 miles at 60 MPH one way and 70 MPH on the way back.

OK,OK...i know anybody getting a 24+ MPG is either not hand calcing or is not taking 2-4 off the overhead. I am talking specifically about guys on this forum with lifts and 35ish sized tires. The best miliage I ever got was my 01' stock program with 265s after break in. The best I could get out of my 05' after it was lifted was 21ish and that was at 70 degrees, smarty on low and going sixty. The best ive gotten out of my 07' with the mods in my sig is 20ish with the jr on #2 going real slow. This new beta program on my jr. seems to like #1 for fuel economy and I'm getting just shy of 20 driving like a rolling road block. I don;t run #2 or #3 cause I cant keep my foot out of it but like I said, All I was getting was 21ish on #2 before the beta program (i think it was called 5.03d). Iv'e seen this argument on here and TDR for years and want to better understand where the disconnect is. Who is hand calcing a stock truck? Who is using overhead on stock? Who is hand calcing a lifted truck with larger tires? Who is using overhead with lift and larger tires. I think if we get on the same page Bob or Marco could help us save some fuel. Thanks guys
