I just recive my smarty jr and i have the message, UNKONWN SOFTWARE , i download the last up date an still have the same massege.

Your 07 is the early model year with the 5.9, correct?

Have you ever had another programmer on it?

 

yes is 5.9, is the firts time i install a progamer
is a made in mexico truck.
the only time that has been plug is in the dealer to try to set the tires 315.
take me more than 45 days to have the smarty here (Argentina) and now this, I need help to make this work.

 

Bob and Marco will get it squared away. Just hang on a bit.

thanks, I complete the form and they responded to update the software, and sent the number of the ECM, as I did.
I thought that the truck to be sold in eeuu were made in the United States.

 

my truks have a difertent softwear, for the argentinian market, thats was the problem,and smarty only works on US softwear, the people of mads (Stefano and Marco) are taking care of the problem.
I can only say thanks to mads electronics!!

Out of curiousity, do you know what's different about your truck's software? Is it due to the fuel you have in Argentina?

 

No idea,they said that was very similar to the us softwear. But the fuel here have 1500 sulfure parts per millions
