I wish I could help you, but I have no experience with the crazy larry program. Maybe others will chime in.

Has your transmission been modified? Like the valve body and torque converter?

If it's stock... I would not use the WILD... Moderate was fine on my pre SB clutch 6 speed. I bet a stock auto will HATE the WILD.

Wild is not recomended for a stock auto tranny anyway.

I run Wild at #9 and it's hard to manage 2nd gear LOL a little to easy to jerk the truck on bumps!. 3 rd is better and 4th is fine.

The throttle is real touchy on WILD

I can just imagine an auto dealing with that

I dont think the smarty fuels as hard down low on 9 as crazy larry but up & moving I think it is very comparable to crazy larry. I was wanting someone to explain more on how to download the better programs for the 06. it explains it on mads website but im not the best with computers. I was wanting to download the program for the built trans. I dont care for the timing it has. I put in 8 w/no timing and put it right back on 9.

smarty wild removes tourqe management, so your peddle will be touchy, you will have the responsiveness of a 450hp gasser, probably worse due too the torque. So simply said mine is awesome, the whole truck twists and goes!

I just installed the smarty on my 06 6spd. On the 90 horse setting W/timing, rolling into it in 6th gear it acts weird when you let up and step on the clutch coming up to a stop sign. The clutch peddle gets hard and almost can't get it out of gear..... Any thoughts? No tire spinning or driving stupid, just rolling into the throttle.

when I first downloaded mine it done alot of weird stuff. I have had thoughts of returning the smarty. I would not give it a second thought on keeping it if it were cheaper than 685, but thats alot of cash for a downloader compared to others at 400 or so. I do like if you want it to smoke it will. I can take of from a dead stop and roll it out if needed. my truck acted like at first it wanted to keep going when It was first downloaded at a stop sign. I dont care for all the timing, it rattles something horrible when its cold.

Classic symptom of a slipping clutch. I would back down to level 3.

Try the software version for aftermarket injectors. Reduces the timing compared to the stock version.

I have slipped a few clutches with the old truck, I have never experienced the hard to push clutch before...Is this a characteristic of the 2 piece flywheel set up?

Can you run the wild setting on a stock truck without aftermarket injectors or a turbo? Thanks.

The clutch plates gets hot and sticks to the flywheel which causes the hard pedal pressure.
Really should look into replacing the clutch. Like from South Bend.
