I'm running smarty at level 4, and with everything in my SIG. No load. If I drive it hard I'm seeing 1200+ and going past 1400 for a split second without any problems. My Water Boys working with snow performance methanol and I mix it with 50% water to lower the methanol so it doesnt give me any problems. But just the EGT's are scaring me alittle. ANy ideas guys? No boost fooler. I have one but its not in. But when I use the boost fooler it takes longer for the boost to rise and I get alot more smoke.

Stock truck with boost fooler I get 40+ PSI, but really slow almost dead at take off.
Truck on Smarty will hit 40+ PSI Also is that normal?
I was thinking about going with Aurora 3000 turbo, will that help?
What does Smarty #+ Timing do exactly?

 

1200* is the most i'll se on my 04' on sw9, and thats at 30-32psi. I also have a stock intake.

 

I dodnt think it is just yours alot of these trucks are seeing high EGTs. People can say no but when you dump that much fuel it gets hot. SMARTY BDTD and so on they all do it.

 

Why aren't you running odd numbers with timing? Should help lower the EGTs.

If running the odd numbers on the smarty doesn't help get it back down, try injecting more water. I struggle to go past 1200 when the water is turned on.
