DD,
To keep this as simple as possible. Since October '06 the "Euro IV" emissions became mandatory here in Europe. The 6.7L does not meet the European emissions as it comes from Chrysler. The European / American emissions standards are way different...

Looong story short, that "Euro 4 Module" updates the 6.7L ECM with the software I've worked out in order to meet the European emissions. ( Much) lower emissions combined with MUCH better MPG.

Side product of having worked on the emissions software for the 6.7L engine is a deep insight, aka knowledge, into what can be done and HOW to do it....

The performance softwares for the 6.7L are now in the final stages.

Can the Euro-IV software be ran on USA trucks by those guys looking for increased fuel economy?

Yes.
Fuel consumption with original software on the emissions rollers :
[ l/100Km ] 19.27. With my software the consumption went down to [ l/100km] 12.59.

The "Euro IV" software is my starting point for the performance software(s).

any new word on the new software for the 5.9s

i was running the beta software i got from bob, but the milage gains wernt there for me. i believe my mpg actually went down. this is while driving 70 mph on the highway...with the cruise set! best was 17.01

i can get around 18 with 50/50 driving stock? i dont understand whats going on. my crusing rpms are less than 1900

Hey brett remeber that a diesel uses the amount of fuel it needs no matter the RPM. Anything above 60mph and youre mpg will drop because the motor has to maintain a 8000lbs truck at 70mph. Basically stop drving so fast.

it would be pretty awesome if the 6.7 with a smarty would lay down about 500 on the rollers or more with everything else stock.

No need for any tool for that with the 6.7L. Can be done through the overhead.
