Smarty and built trans settings/power
Ok,ok don't beat me up for not searching I'm lazy. So I am not used to being on a budget, and this is the longest I have had a stock truck. I can only do one mod at a time and not throw parts at it,( which actually has made me appreciate it more).
now my?
I have a stock truck with Smarty pod s-06 and a billet DTT trans. What the heck do I do with it? I am not going to be able to add any mods for a while so what settings can I run with a stock turbo, what software version, and what kind of power can I make? I am used to having TNT- R twin everything and being able to run whatever I want. Oh how times have changed.
Anyway any advice would be great. It's going to be a long while before I can add a hair dryer, or sticks so I need a good set up.
TIA, Rye.

I would say to start out with the std. revo on SW7, or9, & tune accordingly 'till your truck likes it. Or you could go straight to TNT, & again tune to suit. But I don't know anyone running a stock turbo with TNT. Could probably do it if you start on say SW5.
I'm on a factory programed S-06 (pre revo). Without the boost fooler listed below and factory sized tires, I dyno'd at 474/ 930 with the stock turbo. Depending on the difference between the trans and rear end, you would be doing close to this.
I'd get a BHAF and a 90% elbow and make a intake on the cheap like mine (vs the $500 kits). For sure gauges on the EGT and trans. Exhaust when you can.
Also update the software to the REVO. My truck is only doing 28 lbs of boost with the S-06. I put the boost fooler on, and it pegs the 35 lbs gauge. I'm thinking the newer software much better. It seems the guys with the updates are doing more boost and a little more power than what I am.

Kind of in the sit as you. New Dtt build with a triple TC. Stock turbo maxed out with revo on 7,tq 3, rp & tm default. Looking at a BD killer B turbo. I am having a wicked harsh downshift to first gear. Wonder what is causing it? Bill set the VB up for towing, less aggressive. Stop and go city I shift to neutral coming to a stop. Any ideas from the forum?
