This is what amazes me and what put me on the Smarty Jr pre-order list. My truck can't handle that power, but it could sure benefit from lower EGTs.

Pauly, from what you have posted in the past about what you want, I really think you are going to like that Smarty Jr.--

That is a really nice tune.

That's what I'm hoping. If I can get a reduction in EGTs by 150*-200* it could save me $1350 by not having to buy a towing turbo! I can handle that!

I am sure it won't be too long-- they got that speed limiter removed finally and they'll be working on the rest...

I think I saw Marco say it would be early December.

That might be possible, I don't know. I can tell you just cruising with the 100hp tune my egts are down an average of 75-80* from what I am used to with regular Smarty sw7. (aftermarket turbo/stock inj. Mod TM)

But that is relative because I have twins. So towing I will be cooler regardless, which is why I am testing at "cruising" rpm's and load. More apple to apple comparison under light boost conditions.

If it doesn't, then nothing lost. As long as they don't get hotter, which I know won't happen.

Dilemma: Should I upgrade my XZT to the new verison and add the Smarty jr or just buy a Smarty. I like the XZT but now I want more and do not want to make the mistake of not buying enough the first time. I do tow a 13K 5er.

Thanks for your help.
