Smarty

Anyone have a problem with the smarty not wanting to install a tune? coming up cal. code not found. Only Downloader I have had in the truck before is the Diablo Predator but was set back to stock.

Bob thanks for the reply. John from Floor it Diesel is going to call you or e-mail you with the string numbers tonight I got all the numbers off the diablo I could find and some. Been all worked up wanting to try the smarty go figure my truck dont want the big power I will look at the numbers again wright them down and give you a call just in case he gets to busy. whats up with the Smarty working from 03-05.5 trucks? didn't know there was an 05.5 truck...i only knew about the 04.5.

i'm running a smarty right now for the weekend. and surprisingly, i'm not that crazy about it.

Read the book a little more in depth.... 0602 is normal with the Smarty. Nothing to worry about! Just remember to clear it when you set the ECM back to stock if you have to go to the dealer for anything. They will get suspicious if they see that.

for those of you who may be wondering, this James we are referring to is a DTT builder and a Smarty dealer right here in Midlothian, Texas. I highly suggest him for any cummins issue, he can find it....and he can build a tranny like no other!

Bob- i'd have to agree about his rep, its amazing to me if you mention DTT on TDR the name James Northum will almost always come up....but he's nothing more than a "small" town good ol boy.
