Smarty for 03 questions

I'm currently running a Superchips(came with the truck) and want to swap over to either a Smarty or a PPE Hot. Overall it looks like the Smarty is probably the best way to go(more options and tunes available). Is the best choice for my 2003 to run the 4.2 Beta? I want minimal smoke with the most power.

Where is the best place to buy the Smarty? Do I just order it with the 4.2 beta program or do I have get that somewhere else? I have read a lot of the Smarty threads, but still a little confused on where to get the other tunes.

Well your going to have a whole new truck with the SMARTY on it... The Beta 4.2 is a good one for the 305/555's for sure... Give Bob a call at Smarty power.com

The 4.2 is a great program, but it is smokey, and no adjustment options other than SW#'s(0-9). It is a beta tune, it is what it is. The 4.3 and 4.4, also betas. 4.2 smokey, 4.3 less smokey, 4.4 least smokey. You do not have your sig filled out, so I can't tell if you have a standard or auto trans, you can control smoke easier with a standard.

You can buy a new Smarty from Bob Wagner. I am not sure he will load one of the older softwares or not, you will have to ask. If you get one with the current software, you cannot go back to the older tunes because of the new chrysler flashes that have been loaded into the new software.

You may be able to find a used Smarty with the older software on it...

If you purchase a new Smarty, get the Standard Revo tune, it is great software. Then you can download the TNT Revo for free from the Mads website, alot of our 03's do not behave well with the TNT software, you will just have to experiment with it.
