Smartified!

I love level 0. I had to try it, and it is half power. Reminds me of a 1996 160 pumped auto truck. Dear Lord, that was a trip down memory lane. Although exhaust temps were a real bugger to get over 700F!

I also tried 60HP with timing. Against a friends truck running a bullydog crazy larry.

The results were predictable. I lost the race... BY 3 INCHES at 80 mph.

for some reason he wouldn't let me reprogram to level 5 and try it again.

Needless to say, he couldn't CaTCHER down low, but he Bulled past me on top. (bad puns i know)

Anyhow, chalk up another very satisfied customer, I might even sell my TSTR49AP because of SMARTY's ability to fuel right to 3500 (my TST noses over at 2850 like factory programming does) and because the low end is just insane.

Thank You Bob Wagner!
I never did 'try' the SMARTY out as a DEMO... I went straight to 'BUY' and have no regrets at all.

If you are sitting on the fence about a SMARTY, one drive will push you.... no, make that SHOVE you off the fence and into buying one. My advice? If you cherish tire wear ratings don't get one. If you don't like that idiot in the mirror grinning from ear to ear, don't buy this.

For everyone else... your either SMARTY or you are trying to CaTCHER up to the person who has one!

The programs WITH timing have a slight rattle (makes more wonderful CTD sounds) and ultra low EGT's even on 80 HP+T mode.

The programs without timing seem to have EGT levels that mirror factory programming.

I am looking forward to a Clutch now to hold all this smoke bellowing, tire frying , clutch abusing, unadulterated POWER!

what is this half power setting you mention. never hear anyone talk about it. what does it actually cut the factory power in half? would that make the fuel economy go up on the highway when driving empty. how does it cut the power?? thanks for any info.

Yup. Level 0 is HALF the factory Power.

Think of it as an electronic 'valet' switch.

I have not tried it for economy, because.... well i don't WANT to drive with it like that!

It's adjustable, but not on the fly. When changing a level the has to be ECM is reprogrammed.

I'ts a sad day to see when a SMARTY set on 80HP+T can lay a pretty good lickin' on some hotter tuning.

I know I am cheerleading a little, but Marco, if you read this... THANK YOU!

The only thing SMARTY needs is a 10% discount coupon for Southbend Clutch and it would be PERFECT
