I finally bought a smarty yesterday, and im running the 4.2 beta or whatever it is. if i barely give any gas in second gear the truck takes off, feels like i floored it. is this normal???

 

For Beta 4.2.. that is normal. Fast fueling curve and no TM. Is your tranny built? If not, I really don't recommend running that program until it is. At least a TC/VB upgrade.

 

Smarty beta 4.2 is a race program and although many run it all the time it is very aggressive. I have used it to play with but I won't run it in the winter time because of slick roads. It is also too smokey for me to run in town.

 

If you're running 4.2 I would download the newer updates off of Mads site, the 4.11 or you can get the 2.11b from me, the 4.2 is very aggressive and it WILL fry your clutch., The 2.11 is refined and IMO the best feeling program as far as the throttle goes. Give me a holler if you need help CJ.
