Single pod, pillar mount question
I'm leaning towards the Gauge Gizmo single pod from Geno's garage. Will I be able to retain the grab handle?
Thanks

do you think the 2 in 1 gauge will be difficult to read at a quick glance? I have seen one before. Cannot remember the manu. I guess it is one of those that you just have to see operational in a truck first...are you auto tranny?
EDIT: never mind on the tranny ??. I did not read the sig.

Single pod
We have a single pod which has the color molded in and Di-Pricol gauges which are a very close match to the factory coloring and illumination. You can see pictures of the gauges and mount here http://www.dieselpowerproducts.com/gauges

Might consider the X-Monitor. Absolutely love mine...never round gauges again. You get your choice of three readings in a space of about 3 inches. Doesn't block vision or grab handle. Just a thought.

I was sitting here with a catalog opened to guages as I read this, but not finding what I had in mind.
I don't want digital, and would prefer seperate di-pricol guages for boost and EGT. I also don't want the combo guage or frog eyes, nor could I live without the grab handle (I know, I'm picky).
Any chace of coming out with a dual pod pillar mount that does not require giving up the grab handle?

Jeff in TD,
The problem with a 2-gauge mount that keeps hte handle is the handle has such a gradual taper into the pillar at the botton that it only leaves room for a single mount.

I kind of figured it may be too cramped to squeeze two guages below the grab handle.
I would also guess there isn't room to make an a-pillar cover that has a grab handle to the left of three guages...
I guess I'll have to figure out which I would rather give up, a boost guage, or the grab handle.
