Well, by no means is my truck a "performance machine" by many of ya'll runnin Smartys, TSTs and SPS62s... or built trannys, 150gph injectors, new valve bodies and TCs, but I am working my way into it all (and can't wait for all my BIG upgrades, trust me...wives are kinda hard to get around with that sorta thing sometimes )...my buddy has a Silverline turbo-back on his 04.5 and it sounds throaty and ballsy on the outside, but doesn't drown ya out too much inside, especially on the freeway where to some of us, it might get redundant after a couple hours of driving...but that new downpipe and straight through muffler should make for a few horses, cooler egts and a pretty new sound, maybe even define that AFE a little more, what do ya'll think?

Ive got a silverline on mine with a 6inch tip. It sounds like a tractor love it.

 

I wouldnt put any other exhaust on my truck, mine is about a year old, and the 304 still looks new. And she sounds great, not too loud but enough to let people know your comming.

 

That's what I got, the 304 4" turbo back with the 5" tip...not only is it really durable, but it comes with a limited lifetime warranty, opens up the motor a pretty good deal (as good as any other aftermarket exhaust I have seen yet), sounds GREAT (the best sound for MY tastes I think) and on top of that, it's one of the cheaper turbo backs out there that can be had ...I'm just pretty excited about getting it on there!

Where to buy the silverline? I did a quick search here but no links to places that sell Silverline brand.

 

Shopdiesel.com, Shielddiesel.com, performancetruckproducts.com, dieselspecialists.net(where i got mine)....they all sell them..i got mine from diesel specialists because i wanted the aluminized and didnt realize they stopped making it so after i ordered it they went ahead and gave me the 409 system for the same price

Dieselspecialists in Orlando installed my dual set up - see the pics in my gallery. 4" - 5" tips - modified because of the custom bed. Very happy w/sound - no in cab drone that I have noticed.
