Any One Running A Silver Bullet Turbo? If So Do You Like It Or Not...anything I Should Know About Them? Any Suggested Upgrades

 

I'm running one with a just a Tripledog and i love it. It has a little more lag than stock but not as bad as some say.

 

have it, love it. Wouldn't have anything else. Sounds great, looks great.
with my stack I can hit 55psi almost instantly

 

I Am Running Banks High Ram Intake, Afe Stage 2 Cold Air Intake, And Ats E-power Computer Module. Will Be Running Edge "ez", And Tst Power Max, After I Get My Turbo On Mon......should Help...

 

How Does It Sound?

 

Awesome! Whistle is great even at 5lbs of boost. Much better than stock turbo.

 

Im running the baby version the 62 and love it great for my towing and with the pmt on it comes alive

 

I love my Silver Bullet with my current mods, in the process of installing some injectors and Dual pumps cannot wait til see how it runs after the work is done.

 

I like mine the aftermarket injectors helped a lot

 

Mine has been awesome,, starting to outgrow it,, but I am going to use it in my compound setup

I'm using the 64 which is just under the bullet. Love it. The whistle is crazy, first I thought it was too much, now I want more. 50lbs of boost no problem and in the blink of an eye...

I run mine w/ smarty on #7 all day and does great unloaded. Loaded up a hill not so well, probably because of the Smarty is too high. Not bad if you drop a gear though

 

My bro has one with the TST / Smarty stack and he loves it. Empty is incredible, smokes like crazy, the wistle is sweeeet, lag isn't bad at all. BUT..... don't plan on towing too much with it. It's an auto with 37's and with maybe 6000 lbs behind him all it does is smoke and get hot (turbo won't light). He's got some tuning to do. Personally I'm gonna go with twins.

 

ive ran a super phat shaft 66 and it was a nice charger. not to much lag. if you plan to pull heavy trailers I would advise not getting it. thats about the only downfall that I saw with mine was surge. I think an aurora 5000 surges less than it did. it spooled decently fast with a tst/power pup stacked on my 05. you should be good to go
