I just sold my 01 and replaced it with a new 06 6 speed. Do I dare install my J/A with under 100 miles on the 06 or should I let things break for a few miles before I install the J/A and hook to 10,000 lbs. and head for the hills?

As long as the engine is properly warmed up, and your not abusive with it, I think 10,000lbs is a fantastic way to break in a new cummins.
