Jump at it with both feet.

I have an 05 and went form BD scary larry to PPE hot and have never looked back.

The BD was good but to me the PPE is smoother through the power band was even great when towing.

So the PPE does have more power than the BD? Like for sled pulling?

I have a ppe hot and i just got a custom bd and i think that the ppe has way to much timing and it make my truck rattle bad.I would keep the bd and try to get some tunes somewhere some how.Theres more options with the bd.And thats a triple dog not a power pup i'm talking about.

This is my experience I ran the BD scary larry for two weeks stacked with a puck, MP8 and then Dr P stage three. It ran like like a race truck with a rush of HP, torque and tons of smoke. EGT's had no problem hitting 1300 when running it through the gears. I tried all setting on the pressure boxes as well as the downloads on the BD one at time.

I then ran PPE HOT for the same length of time with all three pressure boxes. I figured out that even running the hot down load my response was better, smoke was less and EGT's were a lot better.I then pulled 550 miles from amarillo to san antonio with my 5ver 13000 dry weight with 100 gallons of diesel with a 15-20mph head wind running 75 and 80. The PPE was set onthe 155 setting and the Dr P was set at 55 HP. The only time that egts started heading towards 1300 were when I tried to maintain over 70 mph on the hills other than that it ran at around 800-1200. I had power to pass and it ran like I had always wanted it to.

I am running super stocker and this turbo had up until this point been kind of a disappointment but with the PPE it came alive and showed what other people had been talking about. I was considering getting a silver 62 but have since reconsidered.

All trucks are different with their ECMs and how the programmers work with their particular programming but this was my experience. I bought the BD from a member here and kept the PPE. He bought it back and then he himself got a PPE Hot for his SB and big injectors.

To me it was a 100% improvement over anything else I have tried.
Just my 2 cents.
