Question Should I Paint My Fender Flares?

I put the flares on black because of lack of funds but the more I look at it the more I think it looks funny with the chrome. So I've been kicking the idea of painting the flares to match the truck. What do you guys think?

IMO in your case, I'd paint them red. Too much going on, flares would look better red, blend in with the body. LOL

Yes, red. I did mine white (to match my truck) w/ a rough finish and I love them over black.

Like to see them photoshopped first, but I think I'm in agreement with the others.

I was thinking the red as well. If anyone that knows how to run photochop can play with it that would be cool.

I was also thinking of painting the mirrors at the same time.

Well here a quick shot at photo chop, tools at work are not really good at picture editing. But you can get a general idea. At home I can do a little better if you need it.

I would definitely paint them red to match the truck . . . no questions asked. It would look much cleaner and sharper IMHO. You can them painted for 100-150 bucks.

I like them black, because of your blackwall tires.

Looking at the gravel road, I think it would blast the paint off in no time. I didn't paint mine for that reason.

Paint them to match the truck and loose the spaced armor look. Also pull the front end apart and powder paint the springs and control arms red.

As long as you are going to loose the spaced armor loose the badges too.

Well that's what I would do.

I'm kind of lieing my truck is ugly too, but someday I'll do that.

I'm sorry I see you are from Texas just bolt on some more stuff that doesn't go together.
