Short shifter for G-56?

I saw on the BD's website that they have the short shifter for the NV5600, and it says they are designing the shifter for the 5 speed. What about the G56? Has anyone heard of them or somebody comming out with one for the new trucks? I along with a few others I'm sure would love to get my hands on one!

Why would you want that?

They shift like greased lighting stock...

The G56 is actually quite a bit different than the NV5600. A short shifter is not easily manufactured for this application. We figured that it would end up having to sell for $750+ so we didnt go any further with the design. Sorry.

Yup, wouldn't mind having one myself. $750 is a little high though.

Is it possible that if enough people buy, over time the price might come down a little? Those IPODs were pretty pricey at first.

What are the odds that if enough people chime in, you all might reconsider and look into finishing up the design?

Anybody else think they might be interested?

(PS: I hope you are an approved seller!)

I can definately take it back to our R&D team and let them know that there is a genuine interest in the product. I will bring this to them tomorow and will let you know. The more people that sign in that they are interested the easier it would be to convince them to make one, so rally the troops.

What about just cutting and re-threading the shifter from the top?, Would'nt the throw be a little shorter? It might not work for guys with short arms
Doug.

all that does is shorten the shift rod...to actually shorten the shift throw you have to move the "pivot" point up....
