from scratch again

so im starting with an 06 2500 mega cab, i need lots of help i got a good amount of cash to work with but lets not get to crazy. i want to know whats some good upgrades i can do to improve my engine aswell as my tranny. such as chips and pda,s whatever i can stack, and then whatever i need to do to the tranny to make sure it can handle it. ive been reading up on all the forums but id like some supportive answers

ide build the tranny first if you have the $$, and with whatever you have left go from there. theres no point making power if you cant get it to the ground.

I like my HTS tranny! a TC and VB at the least is what ide go with. if you have the $, get a billet input, output and a FP as well.

and if you have read up, im sure you have heard that the smarty is the favorite for a DL.

Depends on how crazy you want to go. I agree, working to beef of the trans should be one of the first steps if you have the money. I would put gauges on it, then work the intake, exhaust, and Smarty combination. Next I would work towards an Airdog/FASS...
