I have a couple of questions.....
Will it work on an 06? Do I need an upgraded turbo? Do I need a FASS or upgraded CP3?
Got my tranny order from Georends Today, should have it in a couple of weeks...

What HP do you think I would be putting down with just the Crazy Larry, boost fooler? I really want to do the Scary Larry......

 

Supposedly it works on an 06....don't really know. There was a beta version for the 06...it was on Diesel Nut's truck...he tore up a billet suncoast with that program. I haven't heard anything else about the program for an 06.

the program rocks on 05's. Billet tranny is a must; FASS, Glacier or AirDog is required; and a turbo would help. Without a bigger turbo, you may break the world record for highest EGT's. Upgraded CP3 not required.

Crazy Larry + boost fooler....430-450hp. just a guess....

 

I've heard a hundred rumors about the scary larry for the 04.5-06's... But yet have we seen any truck lay down the numbers that the 05's do. Yes it works but not as well as the 05s. It's a night and day difference.

OT-OF-HERE is working on putting an 05 ecm on his 04.5 so he can run the true Scary Larry... I hope it works out for him so others can do it.

W1cked layed down AWESOME numbers with the crazy larry so it's no slouch.

Personally, I would buy a fuel system from Glacier Diesel Power. A turbo will be a great addition as well.

 

Crazy Larry + intake + exhaust = 498 on mine. Sotck tranny held for 20K miles.

So with Crazy Larry, you can get almost 500? The crazy larry is 180hp at the wheels, the Scary Larry is supposed to be 280? So it should be pusing around 550?

 

I would think so, but will require the other supporting mods to do so....?

 

my clutch, fuel system were ordered last weeki was going to go with the tst but now im thinking of going with the mp8 and up grading to the scary larry and i was under the impression that that would put me around 550? i know i still need a turbo but, thats going to have to wait until i get back somemore of that green stuff

 

No one's still really sure if the scarry larry will even work on an 06.

 

The last time I heard nathan at xtreme had a computer crash and scary larry program might have been lost. Somebody might want to call and find out for sure.

The program is LOST. No one can run a recovery for the Scary Larry program unless you get the recovery data from Bullydog...and ofcourse Bullydog won't give it away.

HTS was originally buying from Xtreme Truck and Trailer....so they don't have it either.

So if you have a Scary Larry, hang on to it for dear life!
