Has anyone tried one of these yet (1)? Or even heard of them. Sounds very impressive. I 've been thing about getting one of these and adding the psmbuick air intake kit. Looking strong and silent type.

Looks interesting. Personally, I prefer the Scotty 5 intake system. Great turbo sound, cool EGT's, and a great guy to deal with.

I have a scotty III sitting in the shed. Not knocking it or anything ,but I had a lot of oil in the air tube. Both from the factory and upon reoiling myself. Just wasn't confortable with the oil in the tube.

 

I have the S&B, I like it so far, nice molded torque tube. Good turbo whistle, clear lid to check the filter and it uses the stock elbow to connect to the turbo so you don't end up with torn/melted boots like some brands.

AFE Pro Guard 7 for me, flows the air stops the dirt the 4 layer filters let thru!! Take a look at the Stage II and Stage II systems.

s&b air filters are now 8 layers!! and is iso certified. s&b will have their tests results posted soon on their site,along with afe pro guard 7's. they say pro guard is pretty restrictive!

 

I have the S&B as well. I just picked up a spare element so I don't have to throw it into the clothes dryer to have it back in the truck in less than 3 hours. The new one is square, and has more surface area. Yeah, lot's a whistle, wife rolled her pretty eye's when she first heard it, but like my voice she put it in ignore mode. (God I love her) On the 21st I'm getting a new torque converter and a valve body put in. Next year, or sooner with more OT, it will be the 4" exhaust and the engine brake. Yehaw.
