rubbing with 315's

I have a spacer (similar to a leveling kit) on the front and a block in the rear of my truck. (I bought the truck from the guy that placed them, so I don't know the specifics.) But, I have 315-70-17 on my truck and I have noticed where the tires are rubbing and have almost worn a hole in the wheel liner. Is there anything I can do about this besides the obvious (change to smaller tires or lifting the truck further?)

Thanks

Are they only rubbing on the back of the fender?

yes they are only rubbing on the back of the fender well in one spot. (only when the wheels are turned pretty hard.)

What wheels are they mounted on. I had 315s and leveling kit on stock wheels and absolutely no rubbing anywhere even full lock and extended.

They are on Mickey Thompson's wheels. Is there anything that can be done?

thinking your wheels have a 4.5" backspace. If so your wheels will stick out of your wheel well a couple inches.

That being the case, there is not much behind that part of the wheel well liner. I would just remove that part of the liner, no big deal. If you look at my photos you can see some pics of what is behind the liner, this should give you a idea of what you can remove.

If you had a more stock offset you shouldnt be having this problem. Most people dont any way, I did not.

good luck.

thanks for the suggestion. I did think about going ahead and removing that plastic liner. There is a piece of metal behind it, but I don't think it will hit it. Thanks

for the 37s I bent the pinch weld over. I also made a couple more chops to the bottom of the fender
