Looking at replacing my stock muffler 03--no cat-- wondering if the rockktech has any performance benifits and how it sounds ?? is it a direct bolt in as far as length goes ??

 

It is a really tight fit, but it will fit in there. The only performance that I have noticed is that it seems to let the turbo spool a little faster it isn't anything that will make you say WOW but every little bit helps. It sounds great in my opinion. It sounds better than stock however there is there is no drone with this muffler and it doesn't sound exactally like a semi, but close.

No more people with opinions on this muffler? I was thinking of getting one too. The MBRP is alright but if i could tone it down a notch I would be happy.

 

I like the muffler except for the fact that you'll need to take it to an exhaust shop or stop by and get some hangers and weld them on to the muffler. It doesn't come with hanger's for the factory exhaust hanging clamps. Hence I tore mine out while hunting and now I am going to replace it with an mbrp cool duals but if I don't like the drone I will be purchasing another rokktech and fabbing it up to fit the cool duals. I have installed three of them and they take about 30 minutes. Sound is really good!! Just a touch louder than stock and you can tell at WOT!!
