At WOT i was seeing 23,000 for RP... think its time for the fass and cp3
Nelrod and myself both noticed the trucks sound different.More of a rumbling note out the exhaust.I like it!
The TM 3 is very touchy.Don't even want to try 4.

Can someone get me straight on the timing levels 0 and 1. 0 is default and 1 stock.What is the difference?I have flux2's and I'm not real sure on what will work best.Been running aftermarket level 3. Don't want to get to much timing and mes something up!

I never know where Im at ive been swappin it around alot lately. I like TM 4 but thats just me. REAL punchy. I will be buyin new tires soon also.

I get timing rattle on some settings but I cant remember where I was at and with all the confusion over is 4 more or less timing I just keep changin it up. Maybe I should start writin it down.

Just got back from trying it out. WOW!! Much better than the 4.4 IMO. Quite a bit smoother and power is more linear. SOTP dyno says quite a bit more power as well. From a 10 mph roll will light up the 35's when the turbos spool up. Settings tried so far: (with TST and EZ)

TM - 2
Defuel - 0
Timing - 3
RP - 2
WG - 0

TST - 2/0 (03 twins)
EZ - 3

Will try tomorrow with a 50/50 water/meth and TST turned off, and set timing to 2

BTW, Thanks Bob and Marco, Keep up the Good Work

You ever dyno that thing drillpipe? Im still not sure if the modded rail helps or hurts. Ive often seen them used on the classifieds and always felt(without any factual data) that the guys that claimed they "could feel a little more" were hoping to make the purchase worth while and "wished" themselves a better SOTP "feel".

Timing 4 is the milage timing, the most timing advance. I am currently running it, with a very light foot, looking for mpg's. I do get a bit of rattle, like the early Smarty tunes and we shall see on the mpg.

On another note has anyone noticed how fast the rail pressure ramps up with the Revo? On lower settings it doesn't go high but it hits 20k with very light throttle.

well just got back from a little road trip....only one small issue with the shift indicator light(PRND21)-its gone? and my tow/haul light is gone too, still works(3rd gear still locks up) but the light does not come on, but besides that I have it set on

TM=4
defuel=1(off)
Time=1
Rail=3
gate=1(off)

compared to the Beta 4.2 ALOT smoother but from the seat of pants it seems a little bit stronger, I need to mess with the settings a bit more but for now this seems to be the strongest, max egt are around 1400 range and boost is around 45psi lower than the beta(52psi)...a quick ? how would you know if you are draining the rail? just asking to see if it does it or not....O BTW the 35" toyos chirp from 1-2 shift This is great!

A quick question for the MADS crew.

Can you make a updated decal for the back of the Smarty so I dont have to remember all this setting stuff. I would have no problem paying for such a critter either.

I hate to disgrace my Smarty with a piece of duct tape and a sharpie.

with the defuel off you will loose your shift lights... IMO i wouldnt run with it off unless i was at the track or dyno

Just right it over the speedo. It seems to be helpin me alot. Im still peicin together a "he said, BOB said" over what does what. Granted I do have a straw hat shaped like a taco shot with a shotgun signed by the son of Hank Williams III but that barely effects my smarts im sure.
