I have a AirDog system that was shipped to me with the 5 mircon filters. When I phoned Airdog to get the part # for the fleetguard 2-3 micron filters they told me that fleetguard does not sell them, and you have to by the filters from them. I was under the impression when I bought the unit that it used fleetguard stratapore filters, that I could pick up at any fleetquard dealer. Does anyone know if fleetguard sells a 2 micron filter that will work with the airdog set up? If not has anyone found another 2micron filter that will work?

Maybe you were thinking of the FASS system? the FASS comes with a list of alternate suppliers and their part numbers, Airdog uses proprietary filter you have to buy from them.

 

Boy, I sure am glad that I got the FASS. I will tell you this though, Daddy is not in the filter manufacturing business, you need to take the filter to a supplier and see what kind it is. He gets them somewhere. I'll bet they are hudraulic filters, is the rubber at an angle? IF so it would be a hydraulic filter. Go to a parts counter and match it up with any brand hyraulic filter and see if it is the same, if it is you can use the list for FASS filters. Daddy makes the preperator (air dog) and son makes the FASS. You might even ask a large truck stop service manager. They do have to be replaced on big trucks.
