Which replacement clutch for G56?
how much more pedal effort is involved in stepping up to a clutch that will hold 600 hp? also does anyone make a short throw kit for the g56??
Im looking at getting a new truck and i dont wanna have to layout 6K for a billet auto.. I have never driven a stick cummins let alone one with a DD clutch.. i want a fast truck and if it shifts like a big rig then maybe i just gotta buy auto and drop the cash...

If you want a fast truck, then an auto with a billet trans is the way to go. There is some pedal pressure with the 3600 and 3850s, and they don't exactly shift fast. Really, if your planning to hit the track you'll find the auto of comparable horsepower will be at least 1 second faster, sometimes even more....
