Whats up? Just thought I would post my findings on my smarty. Truck is a 05 2500, 6 speed, stock except for muffler delete. Been running the quad race box for the last year. It produces good power, but I didnt like how it raises the boost pressure, and rail pressure above stock levels. My fuel mileage didnt seem to increase either. After hearing so much about the smarty I broke down and bought one. All I can say is this thing rocks. I've been using revo sw#3. My mileage has improved 1-2 mpg and my egt's are lower also. I did have to relearn to drive my truck with the smarty. The smoke it can produce seems a little excessive at times. U have to be really easy on the throttle pedal to control the smoke. Well I hope this helps anybody out looking at buying a smarty. Later.

Hold on to the the Quad Box....One day you may want to stack em!

Just make sure you get all the supporting stuff First! I'm not even going to explain how I know!

 

any box or programer,will raise your boost and rail pres higher than stock,thats how they make power,check the smarty too,im sure it raises rail pres and i know it raises boost thats why it has a boost fooler,

 

Only if u want it too. U have control over wastegate and rp settings.

 

Get those supporting mods done and hold onto the Quad. The fuel only tune stacks extremly well with the Smarty.
