Removed fender and door emblems today

Removed the fender and door emblems today...didn't have time to get rid of the emblems off the tailgate. I also foam padded the whole truck and put a coat of wax on it and detailed her up a bit. Here is what it came out like.

I used a tint squegee (spelling) to pull the emblems off. Then I used some adhesive remover to get most of the film off, and what didn't come off by then I hit with some extra compound and the buffer and it zipped right off.

I have a revtek leveling kit on the truck and it doesnt rub with the big 35's up there. Honestly, the back is still about 3/4 of an inch higher than the front doesn't show any sign of getting and lower back there with fatigue or what not. I am installing a revtek 4 inch kit on the truck soon so I am not extremely worried about it. The rides wonderful now, and if you look closely you'll see my newly installed rancho front stabilzer which really helped firm up things in the front.

If you want to pull off the spears on the doors they are the easiest of anything. I used bug and tar remover the touched up with a lil polish.

Pimp, looks great! I did mine a few months ago and so far I love it. I have no emblems on mine now except I added a Cummins "C" on the lower left hand side of the tailgate. Pix in gallery.

Future plans include replacing the chrome rear bumper with a Frontier bumper (black powdercoat), painting an aftermarket grill black and replacing the stocker chrome one, getting rid of the pinstripe, and powdercoating the wheels black except for the chrome centers. That will probably conclude my exterior in the short term. Someday maybe replace the BFG AT tires with BFG Mud Terrains like NRivers.

Thanks guys, are those power wagon flares on your truck TEXAS? I have some pocket flares and I am not sold on the looks of them on my color truck.

I have one on my back window and it hasn't held up that well. Its been on about two months now and it looks like its 5 years old. I'd pass and just leave it bare.

Looks good, I've been thinking of doing the same thing to my truck, but I think I'm going to do a black/chrome combo with my truck
