Hi Jfaulkner, I will be taking my 07 Diesel to the installer to go "Tachless" as the truck will shut down when started remotely after running for a few seconds. This usually happens when the truck is left for extensive period of time in the extreme cold. However and to if you re-Tach, to you program the CompuStar Remote\Alarm to go higher or lower when reading the Tach?

 

I have been having trouble with my 06 Mega Cab for the last few months having a miss or studder.Finnaly found out the problem was the tach wire on the remote start (CLifford with alarm).I would eliminate it if all possible.

 

I tapped mine at the ECM plug. I did it from underneither the truck and used a T-tap and lots of dielectric grease. No problems so far (knock on wood!)
