Good day boys and girls, I got a set of recon smoked headlights for christmas and pulled them out of the box and they look sweet... but no instructions for them... it looks like it has 4 leds on the bottom of the light where does a guy hook them up too, and how hard are the OEM headlights to pull out... its-35C here so I didn't want to play right now...

 

Not sure about your truck but headlights usually come out fairly easily.. I think the hard part will be wiring the new lights, IIRC they are not plug and play but I'm not 100% positive..

there is two main plugs so I'm hoping they plug into the original plugs but not too sure about the other wires yet..

 

so noone's every put these on.. now I'm scared, well lets go wreck something tryin to put them on Ill let you know how bad it goes

 

raise the hood, to the inside edge of each headlight there are 2 10mm bolts, on the inner fender behind the headlight, there is a rubber plug, remove that plug and a 6" extension on your 10mm socket and remove that 1 bolt (1 per side), the lights are then held into place by a ball and socket fitting. There will be the need for a plastic piece to pry between the fender and the headlight, then they pop right out. Un plug your OEM headlight and turn signal sockets, install onto Recon lights and reverse order to install.. Post pics when done please.
