Any pics? I understand Recon is coming out with the Fender lights in clear as well. That should be cool.I have wanted to make them clear for some time now.

 

Does the recon kit come with a template?? Since I dont have lights now, I'd need 1 to do the install....Truck just doesnt look right without the lights

 

No it does not come with a template. I don't know if the 3rd gens are like the 2nd gens but on mine you can take off the headliner and you can see where the holes are supposed to go for the factory lights.

 

Maybe someone can answer that for me


I bought an led Id bar couple of months ago...Was hoping it would fit between the tailgate and bumper....It wont

I bought them and put them on, two days later the bulbs burned out and started to melt the bulb holder thingy, I replaced the bulbs with the ones from the factory and no problems until it started raining (western washington) they started to leak when I was out of town, so I instructed the wife to take it to the local garage and have them put the factory ones back on. I would have tried to put silicone around them if I was there, but I couldn't wait. I personally think they are junk, they look good but they could be made better. Lesson learned...
