Well, the ramifier didnt help my mileage at all. Still getting the crap in my sig. Also, today smoked a Cheby extreme that was modified but my EGTs got above 1400 for about 10 secs. Just thought id chime in after running it for over a week.
15-16 mph smoking chevy extremes is great mileage. Take a more reasonanble test trip...or average the next 1000 plus miles of driving.
I have been driving about 1000 miles a week (or more) for the last 3 months. My per tank (I have an aux tank...basically doubles my OEM volume...about 70-75 total usable gallons). I have been as low as 13 and as high as 17 for a grand average of 15 mpg. With my lift, tires, speed, and driving habits...I feel that is exceptional. The people that post unrealistic mileage either drive like grandpa unloaded with a tailwind downhill or take too small of a test trip. I am near the bottom, but expect to be. I bet 17 or so should be near the top. JMHO

I agree with 3KrackerRacing. Many people put these boxes on and expect an immediate jump in MPG, but that assumes normal driving habits. Having an extra 100 HP available tends to make you get on it harder, and negate any HP gains you have received.
I drove my truck 110 miles non stop yesterday (middle of the night-no traffic) with the cruise set at 65 mph and averaged 25.5 mpg hand calculated.
When i first got the truck i was at 13-15 highway, then after 10,000 miles I was doing 17mpg. After 20,000 miles roughtly i was at 19 mpg. Approx 30k on the odo and I averaged 21mpg. (this is all strictly highway). 40k came around and I slapped on a set of 245/80-17's (had 305/70's) and I am consistantly averaging 22-25 mpg highway.
truck is a 6 speed with 3.73's.
at this rate. I figure by the time 100,000 miles comes along I will be at 50mpg's
Didn't ya guys hear, the 03's are the 12v's of the 3rd gen
I have run several boxes on my truck and so far the best mpg have some from no boxes, stock tires, and a cold air kit with free flowing exhaust. Oh ya and a light right foot

Just got back from a 1941 mile road trip (100 miles in town, 700 miles @ 67 mph, and the rest at 77 mph). 17.04 MPG for entire trip.
Then ran up to the father-in-laws in Steamboat Springs CO (400 miles of mtn and hill driving, 100 at 77 mph and the rest about 65 mph with a little 55 mph in the tight twisty roads). 18.85 MPG (best tank yet).
All with RAMifier on 100%
Check my signature, this is a 4X4 with 315s, I am VERY happy (but still want more)
