Rail Gauge

The optix rail gauge is AWESOME!

It was very interesting to see what was going on.

Crazy Larry adds NO pressure.... I had always heard that it does and assumed it did. I have talked to 2 other guys running the Crazy Larry tune and they said theres didn't either.

The mp-8 adds ALOT if it's turned up. I had no idea it added as much as it does. Cruising at 15,000psi you can turn it to 75% and it adds 8,000psi.

I don't see any pressure at all added with the bully dog on any setting. I have confirmed this with two other guys who run a rail gauge. Possibly it might add pressure but at the same time it pulls the rail pressure down so it evens out. Instead of draining the rail like the tst does.

It is SIMPLE to hook up. Plug the harness into the rail, hook up a grey wire to a ground, red to 12v, white to dimmer. Done! It comes with everything you need plus some extra wiring parts. Great kit!

so really if your running the BDDL-CL and the TST, you need the MP 8 right?

I can't run the tst/bddl anymore because my truck has been screwed up since I loaded/unloaded the Smarty on my truck.

I can't even run the tst by itself anymore....

On the triple stack the mp-8 is the only thing keeping your rail from completely draining without a modified cp3.

none of the bullydog downloads do pressure....they do however do a nice job of bringing the pressure up faster.

I was thinking about getting one of these but was told it is a 2” gauge . Will this fit in an autometer 2 1/16 dual steering wheel mount? Thinks for the help.
