can't help you but, I'm interested in what you plan to gain by capping your rail. Are you running that high of psi ? I would imagine the Bosch engineers put a blow off in for a reason. Personally, I'd leave well enough alone but, that's me. I know many have done it.

FYI... several are running dual CP3's with much more pumping capacity including myself with no need to cap it. Good luck with it.

The caps are for guys running big injectors, since the bigger injectors require more pressure.
Also, the stock caps tend to weaken after they have been opened a few times. If you are pushing 23-24k psi, the cap is begining to open. Fully opening at 26.5k. After repeated opening, the cap can weaken to a point that it doesn't work and just stays open.
The Floor it block off looks exactly like the stock cap, without a whole. There is even threads on top for the existing banjo bolt to go back. It is also made of high quality stainless steal. I think they cost around $65, but not sure.
This is a mod only for the extreme guys, that MUST have a rail pressure gauge.

IMO, it's another snake oil. The pressure relief is a one time only blow off. Once it goes it has to be replaced. By removing it, you have no safety device in place. I don't think it's happened but, a grenade is very possible ! I've ran at 23 to 25K and have yet to see a problem.

Tatkin, if you can't get one from John, Cummins sells a test bolt that will cap it. It replaces the bolt that's there with one without a hole. Just call them and ask for a pressure relief test bolt.

Triton:
Funny, we just blew one at no more than 24k on the dyno after about 15 runs during testing. What do you think would happen if the cap just flew open at 26.5k psi? It would be a major problem. That is why it slowly starts to open at 23k and fully opens at 26.5.
What is so ''snake oil'' about it? If you want/need to run more pressure, then the cap is needed.

Been running the floor it relief valve cap set up for 45000 miles. It has served me well without any issues to date.

For Lloyd's truck I can see it but, I didn't think he was talking about having mods to run 26k worth of pressure to have to worry about capping.

In talking with a Cummins tech, he said they're a one time only valve... once it blows it's done. Slowly open or fully open, neither it good. He claimed 28k was their max which is why I haven't worried about it. I don't have huge injectors but, they're big enough. It's not that often I see even 26K anyway.
