??? for qzilla, mork, omaha (re: Quad XZT)

Anyone else feel free to give input. With the plethora of "stack" posts on this board, I was hesitant to start another one. So please keep your responses on this topic. Thanks.

I'm currently running the Edge J/A. Looking to stack Quad XZT for more low-end.

Questions:
1. Model # DXZT2 ? Any specific serial # or software version for stacking ?
2. Safe to stack w/ Edge J/A ?
3. Do I need a Walbro or FASS ?
4. Will I make 1000+ ft/lbs ?
5. In what order do I stack on the install ?

Thanks in advance.

1. Not sure if model number maters.
2. I know of others that run that stack and like it.. Just like the Edze EZ stack and juice..
3. You'll need a walbro or fass with the juice alone!
4.. Don't know for sure should be close.
5. ZXT and then juice.. I think

#1 Quad did (does?) make a box just for stacking (no timing, IIRC?)

#2 See above

#3 If your LP pressure drops to under 3psi - yes (you are running fuel gauges, right?)

#4 While bench-racing with Virtual HP & Fantasy Torque - the sky's the limit!

#5 Quad Box should plug into the ECM harness, followed by whatever else.

I run the XZT minus timing with my Diablo and VA box. I sent it to Quad to get the timing removed. It's only mild pressure now. Runs very good.

I agree with everyone here. But with running a pressure box like the xzt, you will need a fuel system upgrade, you will run your rail dry, but it will work well after you put in a better lift pump (fass or gdp)

1. You just have to have the right program for stacking - pressuer only.

2. Yes it's safe to stack with the Juice

3. With standard Juice - no. With Hot Juice - yes.

4. With standard Juice - no. With Hot Juice - yes - on a properly loaded dyno you should be around 450-475/1000-1100.

5. The juice doesn't plug into the rail pressure harness, so there will be no piggy backing plugs there. On the map sensor, I have run it both ways and it doesn't seem tomake any difference.

Don't worry. It's not the quantity, It's the quality!

Kind of like this post. It adds one to my number, but does nothing to help anyone or further a discussion.

1.) DXZT2-S

2.) Yes as long as all normal precautions are taken. More power = more egt's under WOT. Watch them.

3.) That depends on how strong your current lift pump is and which Juice you have. If you have plenty of fuel pressure now then you are probably safe. Most likely if you run the Hot Juice you need a lift pump.

4.) If you have the Hot Juice you should. I would think in the high 800's with a standard Juice.

5.) For this application it makes no difference.

I'm not running a fuel pressure gauge, but looks like I will need one. What pressures will I see with the Walbro kit ? Gauge options are 0-15psi, 0-30, & 0-100. Which one will I want to order ?

Thanks.
