I've just picked up my new 06 3500 with the cummins and 6 speed. This truck will be built up to a reasonable level for towing (450HP or so).

I'm starting to do the pre install bench work on my gauge package and came up with a question:

Is there any reason why I can't combine my Pyro ground wire with my three Light grounds under the pod?? This way I would only have 1 ground wire leaving the pod.

I dont see why not. Just make sure it is a good one, and use it for all your gauge grounds.

 

I soldered all of my ground wire to (1) eyelet and bolted it to the E-brake bracket...

 

No reason you can't, you can also do the same for the power side, lights, guages all to one key on source, makes a nice clean install.
