Question On SMARTY

As all of you know with the earlier trucks mine being an 04.5'. I had the update done for the overhead mileage deal which was suppose to help increase the mileage on our trucks. My question is what happens to this update on my truck when I load up the smarty and then I want to go back to stock? Will I still have the update for the mileage? I didn't know if the smarty copied the program from the truck before the upload or if it just has the latest and greatest already on it.

Thanks,

Matt

the overhead mileage deal? you mean you actually went and had them try fixing that? is it accurate now?

the reason i ask is that if they updated it i wanna say it was a reflash? i could be wrong... in which case it was, then no the smarty wont mess with any of the 'updates' to your truck.

Yes it was a reflash. And NO it doesn't fix it LOL. It did help with the mileage on my truck though. It increased it when I checked it by hand but my overhead is still off a little.

Never trust the overhead guess-o-meter.

Anyway the SMARTY downloads has the latest Chryslers updates available at that time.

It wont bother your truck's updates. I know a local dealer that can get you a smarty if you want one. Drop me a p.m.
