Ok guys right now i have the bully dog triple dog (crazy larry tune)on my truck. I have been thinking about doing the upgrade to the scary larry tune. But I plan on buying a TST box in the next month or so. So my question is

Will i be better of leaving it on the crazy larry or updating it to the scary larry with the TST box on it?

Im not worried about temps or anything like that, going to get that taken care of soon. Just help me out thanks

Yeah there is a huge difference, in fact I only go to SL on the highway...well not all the time because I am running a stock tranny. It does run good. I am putting in a 5 inch exhaust this weekend so hopefully that will open it up a little more. I sent it off to wicked diesel (they are online) with 50 bucks and bam! Scary Larry.

Luken was running scary larry and a TST stack and has gone through 2 head gaskets Send me a pm and I will tell you who has the scary larry for sale..!!Scary larry maxes out timing so they only recomend a boost fooler and a pressure box.I am running a quad race box with timing delete.

 

so its a no no to go with the scary larry and the TST?

The tst/scary larry stack isn't the reason I blew 2 headgaskets. I did blow the gasket once (with stock head bolts) then 700 miles later it blew with zero added power. After I tore it down we could see why it did. The first time I had a guy put the head on for me and it wasn't right. The second time I had to buy a new head and I installed it. Hopefully it will hold with ARP's.

I am getting adjustable timing on my tst so that will help a bunch. It's a serious combo for making power with stock injectors. The scary larry with big Flux injectors puts out alot of power too.
